Abigail Manor Personal Care Home is owned by Dr. Evan and Mrs. Comfort Williams.
Dr. Evan F. Williams is a professor of Pharmacology at Morehouse School of Medicine. Before he began his journey as a professional, he spent several years working as a psychiatric technician and counselor of emotionally disturbed adolescents and adult mental health patients at a private psychiatric facility in Rockville, Maryland called Chestnut Lodge.
Mrs. Comfort Williams works with the Fulton County Health and Wellness Department. Previously, she worked as a nurse aid for Wildwood Nursing Homes in Bethesda, Maryland. For many years, she was also a private home care provider in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area.
The both of them have over 20 combined years of experience in providing care to individuals of various resident populations.
The services we provide to our residents are developed with the focus of helping them have a meaningful lifestyle while maintaining their family connections. Our caregivers realize the importance of letting our residents keep their self-worth. Accordingly, we create a personalized care plan for our residents to address each unique need.
We aim to help adults with developmental disabilities live an alternative lifestyle where they can have confidence in themselves and reach their highest level of independence.
